Tobu Railway reopening announcement
Due to Tobu railway stopped by Typhoon Hagibis in last week.
Tobu railway will completely resume again on 24th Oct 2019. (Japan Time)
However, We will restart selling NIKKO PASS ( from 25th Oct 2019 Usage. ) again on website from 23rd Oct 2019

Train status information
Due to the strike of Typhoon Hagibis (19th typhoon) in Japan on Oct. 12 (Sat.), the train bound for Nikko district has been completely interrupted. (Operation stopped).
Refund for the customers who have already purchased NIKKO PASS
The refund will be done with NO penalty charge by TOBU TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER ASAKUSA.
Selling the ticket bound for NIKKO AREA
Hereafter, please note that the selling ticket of NIKKO PASS is suspended until the train’s resumption. Updated information about the reselling ticket will be announced as soon as any progresses.
If you may have travel plans from Tokyo to Nikko district, JR (Japan Railway) bound for Nikko runs normal. You are kindly required to check the operation information in advance.

- NIKKO PASS all area
- This pass for foreign visitors includes one round-trip ticket from Asakusa to Shimoimaichi, unlimited train travel to Nikko and Kinugawa Onsen, as well as unlimited bus travel in the Nikko and Kinugawa Onsen areas.
It is ideal for those who wish to visit the shrines and temples of the World Heritage Site of Nikko, as well as the Okunikko area, Lake Chuzenji, and Kinugawa Onsen.
